Lilleagle Jeremy Fisher – Ziva x Ch Dialynne Peter Piper 2023 pups

Thought it was about time to share some of the lovely critiques that Enzo has received in the ring recently, congratulations Enzo and Bella.

Jane Whitton:  Lilleagle Jeremy Fisher – 11 mth old broken tricolour dog who catches the eye immediately. Strong, masculine head with good firm topline. Plenty of bone with straight correct limbs and tight feet. Well-muscled and developed body overall for age. Powerful movement in profile, moving with very good reach and drive. RBOB, BP and I saw he went on to take HPG3.

Sarah Porter:  Lilleagle Jeremy Fisher – RBOB & BPIB. Lovely 10 month tri male of good quality with well-proportioned head and skull with a well-defined stop. Good muzzle with lovely dark eyes. Ears for good size and shape. Well laid shoulder. Straight in leg. Nice tail set with a well angled rear. Good reach and drive with a well maintained topline in movement.

Ed Cassidy Eastbourne and District:  Openly marked dog who is well grown, quite strong in head, dark eyes, pleasing forehand, strong bone, strong well padded feet.  Deep in body and ribbed well back, level topline, tail high set and carried, strong well muscled quarters with the best of muscle tone, moved positively in all directions. P2 and PG4.

Jane Brownlow Southampton:  Well developed 12 month old broken tri dog has so much to like about him.  Shown in excellent condition and to his best advantage by his young handler.  Strong masculine head with lovely soft expression, good eye colour and nicely domed skull.  Overall demonstrated a nicely balanced outline with excellent bone.  Well let down chest and nicely laid back ribing.  Correct angulation both front and read.  On the move this dog was sound, confidently covering  the ground with ease showing great reach and drive.  Pushed hard for BOB.  Interested to see how he matures.

    2023 Pups About Town

Last years pups of Ziva x Peter have now completed their first shows.  Pleasing comments from Judges and exhibitors, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for their support and guidance to our young handlers.  All these pups have been going to ringcraft weekly since early days and each handler of the pups had their very first experience of a show, so it was first time for everyone and I believe they did wonderfully, novices together can often cause chaos in a ring, but they were all fabulous.

Wellingborough – Judge: Jill Cross (excuse our Judges spelling of their names):

L-R. Benjie, Chevron, Ziva and Enzo.

    Ziva due in July

Ziva has been mated with Dialynne Peter Piper, a fantastic champion dog from the Dialynne kennels. Such a pro, he was just finishing his bath when she arrived, did his job and set off for Scotland for his next successful champ show. What a man.

Anyway, pregnancy confirmed yesterday, we do have awaiting list, but if you’re interested in joining it please do get in contact. We will always signpost you to other reputable breeders if Ziva doesn’t have enough pups.

It wasn’t very sunny when Ziva was ovulating and that does impact on the amount of eggs she releases.

Fingers crossed! It is likely that these will all be tri coloured pups.

    Update, Ziva had 9 pups!

    Five star licensed breeder.

I have been a member of the Kennel club Assured Breeder scheme for a few years and decided now that I am planning another litter to become a licensed breeder. I was assessed in April 2023 for the first time and received a 5 star license. I’m over the moon and pleased that my pups can be sold from my home as an Assured Breeder and 5 Star Breeder.

    Hound show 2023

Thought I’d share some lovely images taken by Diane Volpe of the girls on the move last weekend.  Ziva is planning to have a litter this year so thought I should get her out as much as possible before her season.

Someone New Is Joining The Family.

I have been very lucky to be able to add a young bitch to our family, huge thanks to Lisa and Willow.  Her name is Ziva, a tan and white bitch from Quincerhound Oreo Bark a stunning young man owned and bred by Christine who shows my girls.  If you want to look Ziva up she is Willows Freda Hatun Among Lilleagle (be patient with the KC, I have only just requested name change etc).  I have always wanted a tan and white but finding the right one is not as easy as it first seems.  The colouring is like our first Basset Hound, Rolf and this excites my Son William very much!  So much has been going on here in the house and not a lot of showing.  Lilly had a season last year and we plan to have a litter from her this year, season permitting of course.  This means she has had one clear season following her last litter.  Chevron has yet to come into season.  Whilst is it great for new owners to have bitches that come into season very rarely, it does make it tricky for me to be able to plan litters.  But thank you to those that have joined my waiting list, I appreciate all the time I spend on the phone with you and will make contact once Lilly comes into season.  I will post pictures of young Ziva shortly.
