Feedback from Puppy Owners

I asked my new puppy owners if they would write some feedback on their experience with me from first call to now, about what went well and what could be improved and things I could do for my next litter owners that would be helpful.  More recent reviews can be found via google.

From the first message I sent to Tegan, I knew I wasn’t just talking to a breeder — I was talking to someone who genuinely loves and lives for her dogs. I had done a lot of research on Beagles and was nervous about finding the right match, but Tegan made the entire process so personal, professional, and reassuring from start to finish.

Bliss was part of a litter we followed closely from the day they were born. Tegan kept us updated with regular photos and videos, and even little stories about their personalities as they began to grow. It made the wait feel like a joyful countdown rather than just time passing.

When we finally got to meet Bliss, it was such an emotional moment. She was everything we had hoped for — sweet, confident, and so well-adjusted. You could clearly see the time and care Tegan put into raising her. Bliss was already familiar with household sounds, comfortable being handled, and incredibly affectionate. She settled into our home so quickly, and I truly believe that’s because of the solid, loving foundation Tegan gave her.

What really impressed me was the level of thought and support Tegan offered even after we brought Bliss home. She sent us home with a thoughtful puppy pack (including a blanket that smelled like her littermates, which really helped the first few nights), and she’s continued to check in to see how Bliss is doing. Anytime I’ve had a question — big or small — Tegan has been right there with kind, helpful advice.

Now that Bliss is part of our family, I honestly can’t imagine life without her. She’s playful, gentle, full of character, and an absolute joy. We are so grateful to Tegan for giving her the best possible start in life.

If you’re thinking of bringing a Beagle into your world, I can’t recommend Tegan highly enough. Her passion, care, and commitment shine through in every puppy she raises — and Bliss is living proof of that.

The whole process with Tegan has been wonderful. The encouragement, advice and humour that Tegan has provided throughout the first 7 months of our puppies life has been worth its weight in gold!

She knows the breed like the back of her hand so whatever question, whatever time of the day she has always made herself contactable which has provided a level of reassurance which we treasure. Whether it’s something the pup has eaten, or a change in behaviour, Tegan provides sound advice and gives tips to help remediate.

We had particular trouble with our puppy sleeping and Tegan provided an assortment of methods to try to help improve the rest cycle which seem to be working!!

We feel like we have found not only the best beagle breeder but also a friend who we can rely on!

Would 100% recommend using her as a breeder, and who knows maybe we will be crazy enough to get another beagle in the near future! (Maybe 😂)

We are absolutely blown away with Tegan.  From the minute I first spoke to her I knew she wasn’t just a breeder, I class her as a friend, someone who continuously supports us and the others daily whether it’s problems, worries or even just recent photos of our puppies and there naughty shenanigans. She doesn’t judge just always there with her professional advice no matter what time of the day. She goes above and beyond for her dogs/ puppies and really does give them 5* care.

From day dot she knew exactly what and who she wanted Whiskys first litter’s owners to be. With daily updates, visits & sibling group chat we can stay in contact and see how the puppies grow I love being a part of this as some days can be a challenge but as beagle parents we all have the same problems eventually 😂
I can’t thank Tegan enough. She is a amazing person inside and out and she is an outstanding breeder and deserves all the credit for all the hard work she does daily and also what she puts in to the start of our puppies lives. Thank you Tegan.

Great experience with Tegan when we purchased Buddy, answered all my questions and concerns, provided good advice raising a puppy.

Buddy is healthy, happy, sociable and has fitted into the family.  Good aftercare pack was provided and Tegan is available 24/7 for any concerns and will always get back to you.  She has excellent knowledge of the breed.

We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience getting our first dog as a couple. When we started looking, we knew we wanted a puppy who had the best possible start, from a responsible breeder where the mum dogs were also cared for and loved. That can be hard to judge from the outside, so we were incredibly lucky to find your advert. It’s clear that Whisky and the rest of the Lilleagle beagles are very well cared for and truly part of your family.

The timing of everything worked out really well for us. Having his vaccinations partially done before he came home gave us a head start with getting him out, which we feel outweighed the initial bit of confusion at the vets. Otis being born in the winter has also worked out well. As his energy has increased, the weather has improved, which we’ve really enjoyed.

Thank you again for being so supportive, especially through his bite and recovery. We also really appreciated being able to visit to make sure he had not lost his confidence with other dogs.

In summary, we wouldn’t change a thing. 😊
