Our Beagles
Our Beagles
Lilleagle Chivas Whisky (Willows Freda Hatun among Lilleagle x Ch Peter Piper) Tri Coloured. Stud Book Number 1978DL.
Hereditary Clear for MLS, FVIID, NCCD and Lafora’s. Tested clear for IGS-2. The Royal Kennel Club Best Practice.
Out of all the lovely puppies from Ziva’s first litter, Whisky was one we chose to keep. Whisky has a lovely, soft face; like her mother and truly emanates that typical, friendly beagle look. And her personality matches her face perfectly! Whisky is truly a sweetheart; always ready and waiting to be greeted at the door, the first face you’ll see. Eager to please, a fantastic show dog even at the beginning of her journey, and overall, a fantastic addition to the family!
Past critiques:
Puppy: 2nd 7 month old, most appealing for overall shape & balance.
Puppy: 1st Davis Lilleagle Chivas Whisky. 8 month old bitch who is well grown and in good condition for a puppy, the time will come for her to become more toned and a bit trimmer. She has a pleasant expression and well proportioned head with good length to her leathers. Best Puppy and Reserve Best of Breed.
Post Graduate Class: 2nd. 10 month old sturdy tri bitch. Liked her overall balance and substance. Well proportioned head, with a dark eye and well placed ears. Good length of neck, holding a firm topline and well set on tail. Deep through the body. Held her shape in profile movement.
Whisky had her first litter with Charlie and produced 9 very lovely pups, very hard to select a keeper in them! She took to motherhood just like her mother and I was immensely impressed with her timing… she managed to truffle most of the placentas whilst doing umbilical cords and waited until I exited the room to grab a drink to throw them all up, leaving Jed to deal with that mess. Very proud moment for me!
Whisky has taken part in film work and should be on screen late 2026.

Dialynne Miss Marple (Lilly), bred by Mel Raymond 2016.
Lilly is a family dog and is now retired.
Beautifully bred with her mother’s face and father’s body, she was first introduced to the family to aid our son in therapy after our Basset hound passed on. The Spavin’s have many years experience in breeding and producing their Beagles, their beautiful faces are a key feature of a Dialynne puppy.
She is so tolerant of everyone in the house, she loves her duvet days just as much as muddy puddles!
We were so encouraged by her awareness of everyone’s feelings and how she behaved around anxiety that we started to think about the future and how we would manage without her.
This is what started the conversations with her Di and we feel extremely privileged to be able to breed from her.

Out of Lilly’s first litter we kept Chevron (we wanted to keep them all!) .
We have worked hard to ensure Chevron is well socialised as have all our new puppy owners, it has been harder than normal as these puppies were born during the pandemic.
Chevron loves to play with her siblings and is often found irritating her mother, playing with the chickens or under the duvet warming my side – I often wake up with a butt in my face and the “sweet” smell of puppy farts, which strangely smell like corned beef.
Chevron is a little pocket rocket and enjoys nothing more than strutting her stuff in public and making sure everyone knows where she is!
Chevron is like her mother, slow to mature and didn’t have her first season until she was two years of age, unfortunately on her second season she had open pyometra, very unusual for a youngster, as such our hopes of continuing Lilly’s line were smashed and we decided to have her spayed to protect her health. We obtained authority to compete still from the Kennel Club and Chevron continues to enjoy the show ring.

Willows Freda Hatun among Lilleagle (Ziva).
The Royal Kennel Club Best Practice, clear DNA tests.
Ziva has a soft expression and is a snuggle bum. She is a bit casual round the ring compared to her competition but that is Ziva all over … casual and takes everything in her stride, she really has a fabulous temperament. Her most favourite place to be is in bed, preferably under my armpit and face in my neck. She really is a sweetie. We love her here, such a family dog. In her third year she produced a wonderful litter of pups in 2023. Unlike Lilly’s line, Ziva has very regular seasons and during her season in September after her first litter she had a nasty uterine infection, on the advice of our vets we aggressively treated with antibiotics, and were recommended that on her next season she should be mated again and on the authorisation of those that regulate us, a repeat mating with Ch Dialynne Peter Piper was done in 2024 and Ziva had another wonderful litter. Her final litter was in 2026, she delivered us some fabulous puppies out of our Dave, two of which we have held for the future!
Ziva and her litter of 2024 pups were the stars of the Royal Canin Brilliant Breeders Campaign.
We also collaborated with Linnaeus and the Mars group for their new www.tinytails.life website, the website aims to provide advice for potential new puppy/dog owners from a variety of professionals; Breeder, Veterinary Surgeons, Nutritionists. Ziva and her pups took the camera crew, equipment, veterinary specialists and extra people in the house all in their stride, I was hugely proud of her.

We have planned our 2027 litter. If you’d like to know more about our waiting list, please complete the puppy application form and read through the documents below.
