Licenced with Warwick District Council with five stars (AB91-26) commencing June 2026. Home care, day or night for small to medium sized dogs of any breed (for same household dogs we will accept large dogs too).
Our five star licence demonstrates our commitment to the care and welfare of dogs in our care, our cleanliness, attention to infection prevention and staffing qualifications.
We have extensive experience with both the hound and gundog groups. We understand their quirks, their behaviours, and the traits that can overwhelm less experienced boarders. This means we are likely to be ready for any other breed who has quirky, fun, independent traits.
With us, your dog isn’t just boarded—they’re understood, cared for, and given an environment where they can truly feel at home, often on our bed, or their own suite with private garden if they are more nervous (we can always sleep with them if they need extra support).
If you have a small to medium sized dog and you would like them to be cared for either in their own space or mixed with the beagle gang please click the link below for our terms, prices and booking form.
We made the decision to have a maximum of two boarding dogs here, meaning we can look after your best friend(s) on a 1-1 basis, if you have more than two dogs in your household please contact us, if the demand is high we will increase our numbers through council permission.
Why We Require a Trial Night
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our absolute priorities. To maintain a calm, stress-free, and safe environment, we require all new guests to complete a mandatory Trial Night before booking extended holiday stays.
To give your pup the best possible experience, we only host one trial dog at a time. This guarantees that your dog receives our undivided attention, a slow and gentle introduction to our routine, and plenty of one-on-one love. It gives you total peace of mind that they feel completely at home here, and ensures they are fully registered and ready for priority booking when your next holiday comes around. As part of our commitment to looking after your dog to the highest standards it is important that you are in the country and available during any trial periods, we may need to call you for information or chat about behaviours not noted on your form.
We treat the trial night as a comprehensive, premium intake assessment. Because your dog is the sole focus of our attention, their overnight stay includes:
- 1-on-1 Personalised Intake: A dedicated introduction to our team to review your dog's specific routine, feeding preferences, and quirks.
- Tailored Care & Attention: Because there are no other new dogs competing for attention, your pup gets a completely bespoke stay tailored to their personality.
- The Sleepover Test: A cosy night's stay in our boarding area to see how comfortably and confidently they settle overnight.
- The Next-Day Report Card: When you pick your pup up, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown of their stay, photos of their adventures, and feedback on how they settled.
- Drop off after midday, Pick up the following day before 10am. If you pick up after 10am and before 5pm the day care rate will apply.
Please note: Because we strictly limit our schedule to only one trial dog per night, spaces fill up incredibly fast during our off-peak periods. We highly recommend booking your trial well in advance of your planned holiday dates. Please only select dates that are highlighted in green, so we have no other dogs here.
What happens if my dog doesn’t pass the trial?
Our goal is to set your dog up for success. Having quirks, anxieties, or medical needs does not automatically mean your dog will fail! Because we only take one trial dog at a time, we can accommodate many unique needs—but only if we know about them in advance. However, if a dog displays undisclosed aggression or a medical condition that we are not equipped to safely manage, they will not pass. We will always provide honest, constructive feedback to help you find the best care path for your pup.
Can I book my main holiday dates at the same time?
To protect our schedule, holiday reservations are unlocked after a successful trial night has been completed and approved. We highly recommend booking a mid-week trial night this month so your dog is fully registered and ready for future peak seasons.
Welcome Back! A Quick Note for Our Regular Guests
We love welcoming our regular pack members back! Because dogs grow, age, and change over time, we require a brief form update prior to every single booking. Even if your dog stayed with us recently, their health and behaviour can shift. Please take a moment to honestly disclose any changes since their last visit, including:
- New medical updates (new medications, recent illnesses, or newly developed joint stiffness).
- Changes in behaviour or quirks (new fears, increased sensitivity to handling, or changes in how they interact with food/toys).
- Dietary adjustments (changes to portion sizes, brands, or new allergies).
A dog's needs can change in a matter of weeks. Taking a few minutes to give us an accurate update ensures your pup’s routine remains perfect, safe, and completely tailored to exactly who they are today.
We operate a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding undisclosed medical conditions and behavioural issues. Because we host only one trial dog at a time, your dog will be in direct, close personal contact with us in our home. You must be 100% transparent on your booking form.
Do not set your dog up to fail, and do not put our safety at risk by hiding their triggers, handling quirks, or health conditions.
- Undisclosed Aggression & Bites: If your dog has a history of snapping, extreme resource guarding, or fear-aggression, you must state it. Withholding this information places us at risk of severe physical injury.
- Undisclosed Medical Conditions: Life-threatening or severe conditions (such as epilepsy, seizures, or heart issues) must be disclosed so we can monitor them correctly and react in a medical emergency.
The Consequences of Non-Disclosure:
If your dog displays undisclosed aggression, inflicts injury, or suffers from a severe, unmapped medical condition during their stay, the trial will be terminated immediately. You or your emergency contact will be required to collect the dog immediately, and your payment will be forfeited in full.
We love dogs and can accommodate many unique quirks—but only if we are told the absolute truth beforehand. We take your dog's safety seriously; please take our physical safety seriously too.
